Restoring Homes, Strengthening Communities
A once-vacant, fire-damaged property in Salisbury has been transformed into three high-quality affordable homes thanks to mission-driven developer Germaine Thomas and financing from CFE. The redevelopment provides stable housing for families using Housing Choice Vouchers while helping revitalize a long-neglected neighborhood.
Powering Communities Through Affordable Solar
With $1.35 million in financing from CFE, Flywheel Renewables is bringing rooftop solar to affordable housing and community organizations across Washington, DC, and Maryland. The seven-project portfolio will lower energy costs, expand access to clean energy for more than 150 residents, and strengthen underserved communities through mission-driven investment.
